Had a constant void issue under my front steps. After filing in myself the last 4 years I decided to get a void fill... instead. Response was super quick and the quote was in line for what I was expecting. There was a delay in getting the work done (about 4 weeks from quote) - probably because they are super busy though. They just left and the crew was super friendly and they did a great job. Void is filled and only time will tell whether this will fix the issue - although at first glance it should do the job. They were very courteous and cleaned everything up before leaving. Would highly recommend.read more

The garage floor we had was built terribly over 30 yrs ago and when we took possession of the house it was priority 1... to have it dig up, repackaged, and re-poured. These guys were excellent at their job although communication and timelines weren’t exactly the quickest but I understood because of the massive surge in business that Covid brought with everyone doing work around their houses. Once Bryan and his guys showed up it was straight to business and they completed it fast and with quality and professionalism. Our job unearthed another issue that required some foam injection which they were able to accommodate as well in a timely fashion and provide a very reasonable guarantee on their work. I would highly recommend this company. It may take a while to get them there but it will be worth the wait as the work is great quality.read more

I hired Concrete Experts to do void fill under my back yard concrete patio. Customer service right from the start was... excellent. During a very busy summer season they were able to coordinate with my schedule to provide an estimate and perform the work. Dallin is very professional and receptive to my concerns and the work I wanted done. He answered all of my questions, explained the work methods and how the product works very well, and worked with me to find practical solutions.The crew who did the work was excellent. They were very professional and friendly again and did exactly as was discussed in the estimate. They went the extra steps to work around my wood deck that was in the way to address my primary concern area. After the work was done they did a walk-through with me and explained everything that was done, including the sizes of the voids they found in different areas. The finished product looks great as well. I'm very happy with the finish around the edges and at the drill locations. The team was very responsive and were able to come the... next day to give me an estimate, offering to price-match if i found a better offer. As opposed to other companies, Concrete Experts was able to schedule me in right away which was a huge selling point. I am... thrilled with the end result of the foam jacking job... they got all of my concrete slabs back to level and up to original height, at a very competitive price compared to the other concrete slab lifting services in Calgary . I found Concrete Experts to be exceedingly fair in their billing too; the amount I was billed came in below estimated price! In addition, they do top quality work, they use a commercial grade 4 lb foam which is about triple the strength to the average 2 lb foam...what all of their competition uses. Concrete Experts – are truly that. I called and got three quotes, from the top three concrete professionals based on... google reviews in Calgary. My Hot Tub pad weight requirements were to withstand 6500 lbs. of weight when full of water, and all the quotes came in between $4k and $6K. However the biggest difference was what I was getting in these quotes, from labor, material, design/structure and methodology about how and why to pour the pad based on my situation.Concrete Experts included more rebar, thicker rebar, and additional 2 inches of concrete (thicker pad) than the competition, 2 piles that other quotes did not even suggest or offer, and ridge foam, for heaving. AWESOME Value.Out of all the quotes and (education process) Concrete Experts explained the pros and cons of the different approaches to pouring the pad and methodology as to either tie the Hot Tub pad to my house foundation or not and the risks and alternatives, that worked best. Hands down these guys know what they are talking about, and delivered above and beyond what they quoted. Bryan Tagg and his Crew, were on time, efficient, polite, communicated well, and were collaborative on what I wanted, and made suggestions, and recommendation based on my requirements, they were respectful of my property, and my neighbours and truly did an amazing job. My original quote from “Concrete Experts” – Bryan Tagg (owner) was for $5,049 and the final bill came in at $4800. Very happy with them and would recommend them to any family member or friend. Bryan came and estimated the work for me. He came back and did the work as we agreed and the outcomes were very good... for the entire scope; however; I had a concern in one area that was not fill out properly from my opinion. I did ask Bryan via emails with the photos to come back and fill out the area of concern, but he start talking about extra charges to fill the hole who left behind “which is part of his scope - under the slab towards the 1st door step”. Also mentioned he won’t guarantee ploy to not go over the stucco due to the location and the high pressure unless the entire area get sealed. For me, this is why I hired expert to assess the job site and come up with plan HOW to address ALL the issues BEFORE he starts the job. Not to leave an outstanding area and offer another FREE visit to start bargaining again for EXTRA charges. My comments for those who want to hire Concrete Expert make sure to go through the scope with Bryan in DETAILS to ensure you get the right service. Am I hiring him again if I have another job? No, because he failed to identify the FULL scope at the beginning when he assessed the job and he wasn’t willing to keep the customer satisfied after deficiency was observed. I did finish the work that he left behind and bought couple of Poly cans from Lowe’s to fill the hole. I paid him full amount of $3,000 and got unfinished job… What a GREAT service !!read more
